Refuge Programs & Retreats
The Refuge is an amazing place to hold your retreat or attend one of our planned programs. With over 50 years of ministry experience, our staff can customize any retreat for your organization.
Could we help you with a Youth event, Women’s or Men’s retreat, year-planning for your ministry, or prayer gathering? We’re ready for you! The Refuge can provide your retreat with worship leaders, speakers, programmed activities, or simply host you during your visit.

What to expect
Every Retreat is unique, and we want to meet your specific needs, so there is no one-size-fits-all approach. But, you can expect that we will work on your individual event and do our best to help you plan and execute successfully. We are happy to arrange a time for you to tour the camp before your event. On the day of your retreat, you may want to arrange some of your leadership/planning team to arrive early to set things up prior to the arrival of all participants, or it may work best for you to all arrive together. We will have a staff member ready to greet you upon arrival and help everyone get settled in our comfortable farmhouses and with any other setup that has been arranged.
Staff will then be available for any pre-arranged programed activities and to ensure trash is cleared and any questions you may have are answered.

Team Building
Challenge your group mentally, physically, relationally, and spiritually. Our staff will guide you through elements of our challenge course, designed to encourage teamwork, problem solving, leadership and trust. At the end, we love to process this activity with your group, drawing out how it may represent more of eternal significance and apply to their lives. Groups of 8-14 are ideal. This is not a high ropes course, and no harness or protective equipment is required. Larger groups will need to be split into groups of 8-14.
